  • Memorable Trip! We were going to northern Portugal for a Habitat for Humanity build and wanted to spend a week plus before the trip seeing Porto, Peneda-Geres and Douro International Nature Park. I wasn't really sure how to arrange everything and didn't want to rent a car. I connected with Nuno and he made it an effortless adventure. The places that he choose for us to stay were small and very boutique spots. This is what we enjoy the most. The guides that he arranged for us in each spot were amazing. We love to hike and see birds and wildlife. He set up guides who were excellent in these areas. We had car transfers between spots and he joined us in Miranda do Douro so that our transfers would not be so long. We thoroughly enjoyed his company for those several days. His planning and ideas made our trip so memorable. He is an amazing person and we hope we will be able to return to Portugal and have him plan another adventure. He is a gem!! Thanks Nuno for a wonderfull time.

  • The trip came off exactly as planned and was perfectly what we expected! Our two-week trip in Portugal was fantastic. Our travel company took care of all the planning for each day, with our input, and they were available to us for the entire trip. We really enjoyed the experiences that Splendid Evasion arranged for us, especially ones that we would not have known about or had access to. We were able to immerse ourselves in the local culture including, for example, private boat tours, walking tours, food tastings, and a personalized cooking class just for the two of us. Their selections were spot on to what we were looking for, and their ability to make any changes on the fly, if needed, gave us tremendous comfort. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking to make the most of their visit to Portugal.
